This debut exploration of moving images evolved from a need to explore the studio space as a multi-modal time capsule, combining painting, installation, performance, sound and video. The resulting three-part series is a temporal, semi-autobiographical reflection on learned history and memory, from birth to the present, while specifically observing key creative and self-destructive impulses along the way.
The project’s lo-fi approach is commentary on the nature of domestic progress, quality of life and resources in a highly technological and digitalized world. Its musical compositions serve as an alternative method to aid in the recollection of personal and historical memory.
